The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Is Very Near
The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Is Very Near
Why Heaven’s Messages Are Ignored and How Close the Warning Really Is
Felipe Pérez Martí Seattle, January 2026 – Edited April 21, 2026
Motivation
Many souls today are asking themselves three important questions: When will the Immaculate Heart of Mary finally triumph? Why have Heaven’s Marian messages been so widely ignored for decades? And is the Warning truly very close?
We have been given a clear vision of the dramatic events that lie ahead: the Warning (Illumination of Conscience), the Miracle, the Great Tribulation, and the long-awaited Era of Peace. These prophecies — transmitted especially through Garabandal, the approved apparitions of Fatima and Akita, and echoed in many other credible Marian messages of our time — are not mere speculation. They are Heaven’s loving and urgent answer to the immense problems humanity faces today.
Humanity stands on the brink of the abyss. Behind the current escalation of global conflicts and the real risk of nuclear war, many credible messages indicate that hidden forces and elites are being influenced more directly than ever by the spirit of the Antichrist. A significant part of the world suffers under a strong demonic influence that only Jesus Christ Himself can fully cast out. Just as a personal exorcism is an act of divine mercy that begins with a powerful intervention and often involves intense struggle before complete deliverance, the Warning marks the beginning of a global spiritual exorcism. The Great Tribulation will be the final and most painful phase of this purification. At its conclusion, Satan and all his demons will be confined to hell for a thousand years (cf. Rev 20). The faithful remnant, protected like Noah’s family in the “arks” of the refuges by the tender maternal care of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, will emerge purified and will help repopulate a renewed world during the promised Era of Peace — an era that many see as the beginning of the Kingdom of the Divine Will on earth.
Some prophecies place these events within a broader historical framework, such as Luisa Piccarreta’s revelations concerning the coming Reign of the Divine Will. In this article we seek to shed additional light on the historical perspective of what is unfolding.
We are living in the final phase of the “Century of the Devil” — the last great attempt by Satan to destroy the Church and annihilate humanity. Yet, precisely in the midst of this intensified attack, Heaven has responded with a powerful and sustained counteroffensive: the dramatic increase in Marian apparitions and messages since 1884.
This is the “middle term” of salvation history. Between the long centuries of relative silence and the final Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, our Heavenly Mother has drawn near to her children with tender yet urgent maternal love. Her apparitions and locutions are not random; they are the deliberate, loving response of the Woman who was promised to crush the serpent’s head (Gen 3:15). Through Fatima and the many subsequent messages, she prepares us, protects us, and leads us toward the definitive victory of her Immaculate Heart.
This article aims to help us understand where we stand in God’s providential plan — not to frighten us, but to awaken us to the seriousness of the hour and to fill us with confident hope. The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is very close. Let us respond to our Mother’s call with trust, urgency, and love.
Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary vs. the Century of the Devil
The vision of Pope Leo XIII on October 13, 1884 — in which God permitted Satan approximately one hundred years to wage war against the Church — marks a pivotal turning point in salvation history. This “Century of the Devil” (roughly 1884–1984, with lingering effects still felt today) unleashed unprecedented spiritual darkness: two world wars, atheistic regimes, moral decay, and a global assault on faith.
Yet in His infinite mercy and perfect wisdom, God has allowed this period to extend beyond the strict hundred years. What appears as a delay is in reality a profound act of love: a kind of “small tribulation” or preparatory purification, granted so that many souls — including many faithful ones who recognize their own need for deeper conversion — may mature spiritually and arrive better prepared for the Warning and the subsequent time of mercy (the “Amnesty”). At the same time, the enemy has not yet achieved the full measure of destruction he desired: humanity has not crossed the ultimate threshold of a nuclear exchange with the detonation of the first bomb, nor has the Church suffered a fatal wound through any alteration of the doctrine on the Real Presence in the Eucharist. While the devil rages but is held back, the Immaculate Heart of Mary continues her powerful maternal counteroffensive, preparing the definitive Triumph with even greater beauty, depth, and completeness.
Marian Apparitions from the Resurrection to 1884
From the Resurrection (circa AD 30) until the dramatic vision of Pope Leo XIII in 1884, Marian apparitions were relatively rare and sporadic — like isolated beacons shining in the early dawn of the Church. The first recorded apparition occurred barely a decade after Calvary. Around the year 40 AD, while still alive on earth, our Holy Mother Mary appeared by bilocation to St. James the Apostle in Zaragoza, Spain. Finding him discouraged and facing severe persecution, she came to him seated upon a jasper pillar, encouraged him with maternal tenderness, and left behind the sacred image known as Our Lady of the Pillar (Virgen del Pilar).
This apparition — formally approved by the Church in the 16th century — became the oldest Marian devotion in the West. It stands as a powerful symbol of Mary’s role as pillar and support of the nascent Church (cf. Acts 1:14), already acting with the maternal care that Jesus would solemnly entrust to her from the Cross when He gave her to us as Mother in the person of St. John (cf. Jn 19:26-27).
Over the following eighteen centuries, authentic Marian apparitions remained relatively infrequent, usually appearing in moments of particular crisis or to foster conversion. In the 12th century, our Holy Mother appeared to Lady Richeldis de Faverches in Walsingham, England (1061), instructing her to build a replica of the Holy House of Nazareth. This became a major pilgrimage site, highlighting the centrality of the Holy Family and Mary’s tender maternal presence within it. In the 13th century, as Our Lady of Mount Carmel, she appeared to St. Simon Stock in Aylesford, England (1251), delivering the Brown Scapular together with its consoling promise: “Whoever dies clothed in this shall not suffer eternal fire.” Once again, Mary acted with the loving care of a Mother, offering protection and hope to her children in times of spiritual danger.
The 16th century witnessed one of the most extraordinary interventions of our Holy Mother. In 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego in Mexico, leading to the conversion of approximately nine million Aztecs in just ten years and the complete abolition of human sacrifice in the New World — a powerful victory over Satan’s reign (Vatican-approved in 1754). In the very name “Guadalupe” — meaning “she who crushes the head of the serpent” — Mary revealed herself once more as the Woman of Genesis 3:15 and Revelation: the Mother God has given us to protect humanity from the enemy, to crush the ancient serpent, and to help restore what was lost in paradise.
The 19th century saw a modest but significant increase in Marian apparitions amid the profound social upheavals of the Industrial Revolution. This was a time of rapid change marked by sharp class divisions, widespread injustice, and the spiritual void left by the false promises of the Enlightenment. Behind these upheavals lay the hidden influence of Freemasonry and emerging ideologies — liberalism on one side and communism on the other — false solutions offered by the enemy to divide and enslave humanity.
In this troubled context, our Holy Mother drew near to her children with tender maternal care. She appeared especially to protect and console the most needy: the hungry and exploited poor, the sick, the persecuted, and those deceived by dark doctrines. Notable apparitions included Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine Labouré in Paris (1830), offering light and grace; Our Lady of La Salette to two children in France (1846), with solemn warnings of famine and apostasy; Our Lady of Lourdes to Bernadette Soubirous (1858), granting a miraculous spring of physical and spiritual healing; and the apparitions at Pontmain (1871) and Knock (1879) during times of war and persecution. In each case, Mary acted as a true Mother, bringing light against darkness, healing against sickness, justice against injustice, and hope against despair — always fighting the devil, who stands behind every form of evil, while pointing her children toward God’s ultimate plan of redemption.
Even so, the total number of apparitions deemed worthy of belief throughout the entire 19th century remained relatively modest — only around 15 to 20, fewer than two per decade on average.
In sum, from AD 30 to 1884 — nearly 1,850 years — documented and approved Marian apparitions were remarkably sparse: fewer than 100 cases in total, often separated by centuries. They served as isolated graces for particular needs, illuminating the Church’s infancy and growth, but did not yet constitute a sustained heavenly offensive.
Mother Mary’s Counteroffensive
Pope Leo XIII’s vision unleashed a fierce new phase of Satan’s fury against the Church and humanity. Yet, in divine providence, our Heavenly Mother responded immediately with a torrent of grace and maternal love. From that moment onward, Marian apparitions and locutions increased exponentially. While only a few dozen apparitions had been documented in nearly 1,850 years before 1884, more than 1,000 cases have been reported and considered credible or approved by competent Church authorities since then.
This was no coincidence. It is the counteroffensive of the Immaculate Heart of Mary — the tender yet powerful response of a Mother who sees her children in grave danger and comes to their defense with infinite love. Before 1884, Mary had always acted as our Mother, appearing sporadically according to the needs of each era. After Leo XIII’s vision, her maternal intervention became far more frequent and intense, precisely as a direct answer to the heightened attack of the evil one.
Notable early signs included Our Lady of Pompeii (1884), urging greater devotion to the Rosary. Then came the monumental apparitions at Fatima (1917), where Mary warned of Russia’s errors, requested the consecration of that nation, and promised the ultimate Triumph of her Immaculate Heart. In the following decades she continued to draw near: Beauraing and Banneux (1932–33), Heede (1937), Tre Fontane (1947), San Damiano, Garabandal (1961–65), Akita (1973–79), Betania (1980), and Medjugorje (1981 to the present), among many others.
In our own time, Heaven has raised up several credible messengers who help the faithful understand the full timeline and spiritual preparation needed for these decisive hours.
This surge of heavenly messages is the Woman clothed with the sun (Rev 12:1) strategically responding to the ancient serpent’s increased freedom. As Genesis 3:15 foretold: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; she will crush your head, and you will strike her heel.” In every apparition and message, Mary reveals herself as the loving Mother God has given us to protect humanity from the enemy, to crush the serpent’s head, and to lead us toward the full restoration promised by her Son.
The Moment of Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
It is striking that, despite this extraordinary maternal intervention, Satan and his instruments have achieved significant successes. In the world we see two world wars with over 100 million dead, multiple genocides, the global spread of atheistic communism, the horror of legalized abortion (tens of millions of victims every year), the breakdown of the family, the spread of pornography and gender ideology, and now escalating geopolitical conflicts.
Particularly alarming is the current war in the Middle East. Since late February 2026, the direct military confrontation between the United States, Israel and Iran — with its devastating consequences in Lebanon, the Gulf and beyond — has brought the world to the brink of a wider and potentially nuclear conflict. Attacks on critical energy infrastructure, the repeated restrictions and partial closures of the Strait of Hormuz, retaliatory strikes and the persistent risk of the use of nuclear weapons have created a situation of extreme fragility. Behind these events, hidden forces and elites appear to be guided more directly than before by the spirit of the Antichrist, the son of perdition, seeking to bring humanity to the brink of self-destruction.
In the Church, we witness scandals, liturgical and doctrinal confusion, declining vocations, and attempts at false ecumenism that risk undermining the truth of the Eucharist.
God could have stopped all of this instantly. Yet in His mysterious providence, He has permitted this intensified trial while never allowing total destruction. The many Marian apparitions and messages of the past 140 years have served as a powerful maternal shield — “damage control” — protecting the faithful and mitigating the evil one’s worst intentions.
From this perspective, Fatima’s promise — “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph” — points to a definitive moment when the devil will be decisively defeated. That moment appears to be drawing very near, precisely when humanity faces existential risk, such as the outbreak of a major nuclear conflict.
According to messages received by credible messengers, the Warning (Illumination of Conscience) is expected to occur at this critical juncture — just before the first nuclear bomb detonates or when the Church faces its greatest trial regarding the Blessed Sacrament. This would mark the true beginning of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart: not yet the Final Judgment, but the Judgment of the Nations and the start of the purification that will lead to the promised Era of Peace.
During the Warning and the subsequent period of mercy, many souls will have the opportunity to choose God definitively. The faithful remnant will be protected in refuges, while the final battle unfolds between the forces of light and darkness. At the end of the Great Tribulation and the Three Days of Darkness, the Immaculate Heart will triumph completely. Satan and his demons will be cast into hell for the duration of the millennium of peace, and the earth will be renewed.
This is the great hope that sustains us. Our Heavenly Mother is not distant. She is actively fighting for us with infinite love, preparing us for the events ahead. Her messages are not meant to frighten us, but to awaken us, protect us, and fill us with confidence in the final victory that has already been won by her Son.
The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is near. Let us respond to her maternal call with urgency and trust. She is our tender Mother, the Ark that will carry us safely through the storm.
Why Are Church Leaders Not Paying Attention?
An important point is that the prophetic messages about the imminence of the Warning are not primarily directed to those who are already devout and living in grace. They are directed, above all, to great sinners and to a humanity that has largely forgotten God — exactly as happened in Nineveh, a pagan and cruel city to which God sent Jonah, and in Sodom and Gomorrah, where Abraham interceded for a completely corrupt people.
It is understandable that many good and devout souls, including some priests, do not feel an urgent need to speak about these warnings in their homilies. They know they would choose God during the “Amnesty” that follows the Warning. However, this approach, though well-intentioned, is incomplete. These messages are profound acts of mercy from Heaven, calling all of us — devout and sinners alike — to deeper conversion and to intercede urgently for the salvation of the world.
We have a serious responsibility to transmit these maternal calls, even if some good priests do not yet see the same urgency. The proclamation of the Gospel, from the very beginning of the Church, was directed especially to those who had not yet heard it or who lived far from God. The same is true today. Jesus Himself reproached the religious leaders of His time: “You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times” (Mt 16:3).
From the perspective of our vocation as followers of Christ, we must ask ourselves: who are we to ignore or downplay the urgent calls of our Holy Mother in these decisive times, especially toward the end of the “Century of the Devil”? The dramatic increase in Marian apparitions — rising exponentially since 1884 compared to previous centuries — cannot be dismissed lightly. This is not merely a statistical curiosity; it is a maternal response of infinite love from the Woman who was given to us as Mother at the foot of the Cross.
In fact, these messages are also vitally important for the devout. Even those of us who try to live faithfully are not yet perfect saints (I place myself first among them). These heavenly calls are often the last lifeline before God’s direct intervention. The better prepared we are spiritually, the more fruitfully we will be able to serve the Lord and our Holy Mother during the Great Tribulation, in the refuges, and in the mission that awaits the faithful remnant.
Even the understandable caution and reluctance of many good Church leaders to speak frequently about these apocalyptic themes may form part of God’s merciful design. By granting additional time, Heaven allows the Church herself to undergo a gradual interior purification and to grow in readiness — at least in some measure — so that she may better accompany her children when the great events of the Warning and the time of mercy arrive.
Discernment Is Necessary — But Let Us Not Reject Our Holy Mother
Of course, we must always discern carefully, as St. John warns: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 Jn 4:1). The painful experience with false prophets and questionable messages has been a hard but necessary school. It has taught us how the devil can imitate lights, voices, and even apparent signs to deceive souls.
However, we must not fall into the opposite extreme: rejecting true messengers out of fear of being deceived. Jesus Himself warned that His true prophets would be attacked, persecuted, and even killed (cf. Mt 5:11-12). Not listening to authentic calls simply because “there are also false prophets” would be like Nineveh rejecting Jonah.
Our Holy Mother does not stop speaking because some messengers are false. On the contrary, she speaks even more insistently to drown out the lie with the fullness of truth. The definitive criterion for discernment remains what Jesus taught: “By their fruits you will know them” (Mt 7:16). Messages that bring division, disobedience to the Church, or spiritual pride must be rejected. Those that foster greater union with God, deeper conversion, obedience to the Magisterium, and fervent prayer — as we have seen in the beautiful fruits of authentic messengers of our time — should be welcomed with gratitude and humility.
Let us always follow the Church’s established norms for discernment (see 1978 Norms of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith). At the same time, let us not close our hearts to the tender voice of our Heavenly Mother, who in these apocalyptic times is calling all her children — with infinite love and maternal urgency — to prepare for the great events that are approaching.
Conclusion
The “Century of the Devil” has tested humanity and the Church with unprecedented severity. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, the messages of our Heavenly Mother shine with unshakeable hope. They reveal God’s merciful plan to limit the damage caused by the evil one and to lead us safely to the definitive Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary over Satan and all his forces — both visible and invisible.
This article has sought to show that everything we are living has profound meaning in God’s providential design. Not only does He accompany and sustain us at every moment, but through the maternal intercession of Mary, He is preparing us to enter an era very close to paradise — the promised Era of Peace.
Our Heavenly Mother’s Triumph is drawing near. We face seemingly insurmountable problems: in politics, in global affairs, within the Church, in our families, and even in our own hearts. Chaos appears to reign, and human solutions fall short. The threat of nuclear war grows amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and other flashpoints around the world. Never before have we so desperately needed God’s direct intervention — a deluge not of water, but of fire, as foretold after the time of Noah.
The Ark that will carry us safely through this trial is none other than the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Full of infinite love and tender maternal care, she stands ready to protect and guide us. She will act not through our limited human strength, but through the all-powerful mercy and tenderness of God — beginning right now, as we respond to her calls, especially through the daily and fervent recitation of the Holy Rosary.
On the global level, her intervention is imminent: it will begin with the Warning — a universal illumination of conscience and great act of mercy — followed by a period of Amnesty. It will continue through the purification of the Great Tribulation and will culminate in the Era of Peace, when the Heart of Christ will reign fully through the Immaculate Heart of His Mother, and Satan will be bound for a thousand years.
This is not a distant dream. The signs are converging in geopolitics, in the struggles within the Church, and in the many authentic prophecies given in our time. Yet God always respects our freedom. Our prayers, penance, and fidelity can hasten the Triumph and mitigate the chastisements, just as the repentance of Nineveh moved God to spare that city.
Therefore, let us respond with urgency and trust:
- Consecrate ourselves daily to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
- Pray the Rosary fervently, not only once a day but frequently throughout the day, so we may feel her maternal presence at every moment.
- Frequent the Sacraments — especially Confession (at least monthly) and the Eucharist (daily if possible).
- Share these merciful warnings with those who still live far from God, both outside and inside the Church.
In doing so, we join Mary’s army and become instruments in the final defeat of the evil one. The better prepared we are spiritually, the more useful we will be to the Lord and to our Heavenly Mother during the Great Tribulation, in the refuges, and in the mission of rebuilding after the purification.
May we be found faithful and vigilant when the Warning illuminates every conscience. Come, Holy Spirit! Come, Immaculate Heart of Mary! Maranatha! Thy Kingdom come, dear Lord — for we truly need it!
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Candelaria, Reconciler of Peoples and Nations — pray for us.
