When Will the Immaculate Heart of Mary Triumph?
Why Have Heaven's Marian Messages Been Ignored?
Is the Warning Very Close?
DRAFT
Felipe Pérez Martí
Seattle, January 2026
Summary
In the "Century of the Devil" era—stemming from Pope Leo XIII's 1884 vision granting Satan approximately 100 years to attack the Church and humanity—unprecedented evil has afflicted the earth through devastating wars, atheistic ideologies, widespread moral collapse, and deep crises within the Church itself. Heaven responded with a powerful Marian surge: thousands of reported apparitions and messages since 1884, fulfilling Genesis 3:15 and Revelation 12. So far, despite Satan's apparent advances, the Immaculate Heart of Mary has provided ongoing protection and "damage control" to avert total destruction. But now the advance of evil forces in this mostly spiritual war has grown so great that irrationality regarding nuclear war has taken hold in the minds of the world's main leaders. What is coming—the potential destruction of God's most valuable creation, humanity itself—is only rational from the perspective of the Antichrist, the son of perdition, who, according to credible prophecies (such as those given to Fr. Jim Blount and Luz de María), is already alive and directing the world's elite. God’s people, by themselves—even with prayer and indirect assistance from heaven—are no longer able to defeat the devil or stop the threat of total destruction. An overall exorcism is needed—and that is precisely what the definitive Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will bring.
That explains why we now stand at the brink of her promised Triumph, which will unfold imminently through key prophesied events: the Warning (Illumination of Conscience) as its beginning, a period of Amnesty for conversion, the Great Tribulation's purification, protection in Refuges during the deluge of fire, the Three Days of Darkness for the final defeat of evil, and ultimately an Era of Peace. This sequence aligns with the Judgment of the Nations, distinct from the Final Judgment. These messages—largely ignored due to apathy, the control of satanic elites over world media, fear of deception, or lack of urgency in proclamation—call great sinners to immediate repentance and the faithful to fervent intercession and preparation. The Warning appears very close, both by prophetic indications (Garabandal in particular) and by the daring, urgent need of the hour. Hence our Holy Mother's Immaculate Heart stands poised to initiate its chain of triumphs. It goes without saying, but this is the time for urgent preparation: hastening conversion—even among the faithful—and doing our best to join her victorious army, led by St. Michael the Archangel.
Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary vs the Century of the Devil
The vision of Pope Leo XIII on October 13, 1884—in which God permitted Satan approximately 100 years to wage war on the Church—marks a pivotal turning point in salvation history. This "Century of the Devil" (roughly 1884–1984, with lingering effects today) unleashed unprecedented spiritual darkness: two world wars, atheistic regimes, moral decay, and a global assault on faith. Yet, in divine symmetry, it also triggered the most intense Marian activity in Church history. To grasp when the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will occur—and why her messages have been so widely ignored—let us compare apparitions from the Resurrection (AD 30) to 1884 with the explosion that followed. This surge is no coincidence; it is the Immaculate Heart's counteroffensive in these apocalyptic times, leading to the Judgment of the Nations, not the Final Judgment.
Marian Apparitions from the Resurrection to 1884
From the Resurrection (AD 30) to Leo XIII's vision (1884), Marian apparitions were rare and sporadic, like beacons in the early dawn of the Church. The first recorded one occurred just a decade after Calvary, when Mary appeared to St. James the Apostle in Zaragoza, Spain (ca. 40 AD). Seated on a jasper pillar, she encouraged him amid persecution, leaving behind the Virgen del Pilar – the oldest Marian devotion in the West. This apparition, approved by the Church in the 16th century, symbolized Mary's role as pillar of the fledgling Church (Acts 1:14).
Over the next 18 centuries, apparitions remained infrequent, often tied to moments of crisis or conversion. In the 12th century, Mary appeared to Lady Richeldis de Faverches in Walsingham, England (1061), commissioning a replica of the Nazareth house as a pilgrimage site. In the 13th century, she spoke, as our Mother of Mount Carmel, to St. Simon Stock in Aylesford, England (1251), granting the Brown Scapular promise: "Whoever dies clothed in this shall not suffer eternal fire." The 16th century brought Our Lady of Guadalupe (1531) to Saint Juan Diego in Mexico, converting 9 million Aztecs in a decade and crushing human sacrifice – a triumph over Satan's grip on the New World (Vatican-approved 1754).
The 19th century saw a slight uptick amid the Industrial Revolution's social upheavals: Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine Labouré in Paris (1830), Rue du Bac; Our Lady of La Salette to two children in France (1846), warning of famine and apostasy; Our Lady of Lourdes to Bernadette Soubirous (1858), with its spring of healing; and Our Lady of Pontmain (1871) and Knock (1879) during the Franco-Prussian War. These numbered around 15-20 worthy of belief across the entire 19th century – an average of less than one per decade.
In total, from AD 30 to 1884 (nearly 1,850 years), documented Marian apparitions were sparse: fewer than 100 cases, often centuries apart, serving as isolated graces for specific times. They illuminated the Church's infancy and growth but did not form a sustained "offensive."
Mother Mary's Counteroffensive
Pope Leo's vision unleashed Satan's fury, but Mary responded with a torrent of grace. From 1884 onward, apparitions and locutions surged exponentially—over 1,000 documented cases by 2025 (University of Dayton Marian Library: 386 approved/credible in the 20th century; MiracleHunter.com: 1,500+ reported since 1900, averaging 7–8 per year vs. less than 0.2 before).
This Marian Age began almost immediately: Our Lady of Pompeii (1884) urged Rosary devotion amid Italian poverty. Then came Fatima (1917, approved 1930), where Mary revealed the secrets of Russia's errors and the Immaculate Heart's triumph. The 1930s brought Beauraing and Banneux (Belgium, 1932-33), calling for conversion amid economic depression. Heede (Germany, 1937) warned of secularization. Post-WWII, the pace accelerated: Tre Fontane (Rome, 1947), San Damiano (Italy, 1960s), Garabandal (Spain, 1961-65), Akita (Japan, 1973-79, approved), Betania (Venezuela, 1980, approved), and Medjugorje (1981-present).
The 20th and 21st centuries saw hundreds more messengers from heaven with imprimatur or episcopal support: Pedro Regis (Brazil), Gisella Cardia (Italy), and Luz de María (Costa Rica). Two we follow closely: Fr. Michel Rodrigue (the main apostle of these last times, in my opinion) and Luz de María de Bonilla, whom I have defended in previous writings (see references).
This is no coincidence. It is the Woman clothed with the sun (Rev 12:1) strategically responding to the ancient serpent's permission. As Genesis 3:15 foretells: "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; she will crush your head, and you will strike her heel." Revelation 12:17 describes her offspring – the faithful – waging war against the dragon. "Guadalupe" in Nahuatl means "the one who crushes the serpent's head." Fatima echoes it: "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph."
Our Lady of La Salette (1846, approved), already noted earlier for its warnings of famine and apostasy, also foretold great troubles within the Church itself—apostasy among clergy, persecution of the faithful, and Rome losing the faith in part—prophecies that gained renewed urgency in the "Century of the Devil" and underscore why many Marian messages have been ignored.
The Moment of Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
It is striking to observe that, despite the extraordinary surge of Marian apparitions and messages since 1884, Satan and his minions have achieved substantial successes, spreading their influence across the earth.
In the world: two world wars (over 100 million dead), genocides (Holocaust, Armenian, Rwandan, Cambodian), the rise and global spread of atheistic Communism (Bolshevik Revolution onward, persecuting the faithful as Fatima warned), legalized abortion (tens of millions annually worldwide), rampant pornography and family breakdown, gender ideology rejecting natural law, and escalating geopolitical tensions that risk global conflict (e.g., the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war with failed peace talks, nuclear-capable strikes, Arctic flashpoints, and WWIII preparations highlighted in 2026 analyses) (ref 8).
In the Church: clerical abuse scandals eroding trust, liturgical abuses, doctrinal confusion (e.g., debates over marriage and the sacraments), many priests and religious abandoning their mission, declining vocations and Mass attendance in numerous regions, and pushes for a "false ecumenism" that risks diluting the truth of the Eucharist.
Of course, God had—and has—the power to stop them entirely. Yet, in His mysterious providence, He permitted this drift toward evil while preventing total destruction (Satan's ultimate goal). The Marian apparitions and messages have served as divine protection—a form of "damage control" against the devastation intended once permission was granted to test the Church and, by extension, humanity. From this perspective, Fatima's prophecy—"In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph"—points to a definitive moment when the devil will be completely defeated and stopped. That moment has not yet arrived, as the "Century of the Devil" was divinely allowed to unfold. It is logical that this final defeat would coincide with the culmination of that permitted century—when the devil plans his final, devastating and “triumphant” blow.
This critical turning point would naturally occur, then, when humanity faces existential risk, such as during a nuclear war. Once the first nuclear bomb detonates in a major conflict, escalation could follow rapidly as powers unleash their arsenals to prevent defeat. According to Fr. Michel Rodrigue, the Warning (Illumination of Conscience) is prophesied to occur precisely at that juncture—just before the first bomb explodes (ref 3).
Moreover, Fr. Michel identifies another potential trigger: the Church officially abandoning or severely diminishing the Eucharist (e.g., through extreme false ecumenism promoted by certain factions, including attempts to modify the liturgy of the Mass where the consecration of bread and wine occurs). This would grant the devil near-total practical reign, as the Real Presence of Jesus—in Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—has been the bulwark advancing redemption since Pentecost. The Gospel has spread worldwide, from Pentecost on, despite opposition, but setbacks intensified with the Century of the Devil, in particular in Europe.
It is important to note that setbacks to the advance of the Gospel began even earlier: with the divisions sparked by Luther's Reformation, the French Revolution's promotion of liberalism and atheistic communism, and behind-the-scenes influences like Freemasonry. These laid groundwork for opposition to Christ's truth. However, the "great push" came at the beginning of the Century of the Devil, when divine permission amplified the assault on faith and humanity.
During the Synod on Synodality, some voices pushed problematic ecumenism that could undermine Eucharistic truth—though, thank God, it has not fully succeeded (no changes to the consecration liturgy have been implemented as of now). Yet geopolitical signs indicate the other trigger draws near: failed Russia-Ukraine peace efforts, heightened nuclear rhetoric, Arctic tensions, and East-West preparations for potential wider conflict (ref 8).
In my opinion, Fr. Michel's prophecies can be interpreted to mean that the two triggers need not occur simultaneously—the first one to arise will prompt Heaven's direct intervention: the Warning. Remarkably, this can be seen—in my opinion—as the true beginning of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart over the devil. The prophecy states precisely: “In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph.” We can therefore interpret “the end” as the culmination of the Century of the Devil, when the devil attempts his final, devastating blow—for example, the detonation of the first nuclear bomb. During the Warning and the following "Amnesty" period (approximately 6.5 weeks, or a month and a half), the devil will be pushed from the earth in a temporary exorcism. The Triumph will then develop through the Great Tribulation, as souls freely choose between God and evil.
The chosen remnant will be fully protected from the devil in Refuges (new Arks amid the deluge of fire), while the forces of our Holy Mother Mary—assisted by St. Michael the Archangel and the heavenly army—continue the confrontation. During those roughly three and a half years, the final battle unfolds between the armies of light and darkness. At the end of this period, during the Three Days of Darkness, the decisive victory is achieved, and the Immaculate Heart triumphs completely.
All of this is described in detail in God's Plan for Apocalyptic Times (ref 3), including the fact that human members of Mary's army participate in the Tribulation's spiritual and physical warfare, protected in "Mobile Refuges" (akin to Joan of Arc's armies but with far greater supernatural safeguard amid nuclear, chemical, bacteriological weapons, and massive natural cataclysms tilting toward the adversary). The human leader of the good forces will be Henry V of the Cross, the Great Monarch foretold by Marie-Julie Jahenny (ref 9), who will lead Mary's army through the Great Tribulation to restore the Church and bring order before the Era of Peace.
Note that this phase of apocalyptic times refers to the Judgment of the Nations, as analyzed by Fr. Javier Luzón, not the Final Judgment (see ref 10). It can also be understood as the definitive sifting of peoples before the millennium of peace, where our Holy Mother Mary defeats Satan amid the Great Tribulation. After his final defeat during the Three Days of Darkness, the Era of Peace begins, with Satan and all demons confined to hell for that millennium. Survivors from the Refuges—and subsequent warriors—will repopulate a fully renovated earth. All will be healed, rejuvenated, and live in conditions very close to paradise.
Garabandal prophecies indicate we are very close: the Warning might occur in early 2026, followed by the Miracle (ref 2). This aligns with geopolitical analyses suggesting WWIII risks are imminent (ref 8). The entire process of our Holy Mother's Immaculate Heart's final triumph draws very near.
Why Are Church Leaders Not Paying Attention?
An important point is that the prophetic messages about the imminence of the Warning are not primarily directed to the already devout. They are directed, above all, to great sinners and to a humanity that has forgotten God—exactly as happened in Nineveh (a pagan, cruel city to which God sent Jonah) and in Sodom and Gomorrah (where Abraham interceded for a completely corrupt people).
It is natural that the devout have no reason to be overly concerned about these apocalyptic warnings, since they would choose God during the "Amnesty" after the Warning. That is probably why some good priests avoid speaking in their sermons about the need for conversion and preparation among the faithful, even in these apocalyptic times. Yet it is worth noting that these are calls of mercy, inviting us all to intercede and hasten conversion in the rest of the world.
We have the obligation to transmit these messages to the world and to make a great effort in doing so, even though some of our good priests may not feel the need. In my opinion, this reluctance is misguided, since the proclamation of the Gospel—from the very beginnings of the Church—was directed mainly to those who had not yet heard it. The same applies here and now, when we must heed Jesus’ words: “You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times” (Mt 16:3).
But let us take this seriously: who are we to reject the calls from our Holy Mother in these times, especially at the end of the "Century of the Devil"? The increase in Marian apparitions has been dramatic—rising approximately 700% in yearly terms since 1884 when compared to the previous centuries (University of Dayton Marian Library and MiracleHunter.com statistics). If we include reported revelations not widely publicized in the media and not condemned by the Church, the increase reaches around 1000%. Even focusing solely on approved apparitions, the rise is still 700–800% annually. No doubt, in my mind, this lack of attention from some Church leaders is connected to the influence of devilish forces within the Church, as prophesied in many messages—including Our Lady of La Salette (1846, approved), who warned:
“Rome will lose the faith … The Church will be eclipsed, the world will be in consternation…” (from the approved secret given to Mélanie Calvat).
In fact, the messages of our Holy Mother Mary are also for the devout: many devout people who are not yet saints (and I place myself first) must pay maximum attention. These messages are often the last lifeline before justice falls, and the better prepared we are, the more useful we will become to the Lord and to our Mother Mary in doing fruitful work during the Great Tribulation, in the Refuges, and in the Mobile Refuges (ref 3).
Discernment is Necessary — But Let Us Not Reject Our Holy Mother
It is clear that we must always discern (1 Jn 4:1: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world”). The painful experience with false prophets has been a hard but precious school: it has shown us how the devil can imitate lights, personal messages, and even apparent miracles to capture souls. In fact, let us be careful not to go to the other extreme: rejecting true prophets, who, as Jesus predicted, “would be attacked and even murdered” (cf. Mt 5:11-12; see ref 7 defending Fr. Michel Rodrigue). Not listening out of fear of being deceived would be like Nineveh rejecting Jonah because “there are also false prophets.”
Our Holy Mother does not stop speaking because some messengers are false; she speaks even more to drown out the lie with the fullness of truth. The definitive criterion for discernment regarding prophecies is what Jesus says: by their fruits. If they bring division, lies, and disobedience to the Church, they must be rejected. If they bring union, truth, and obedience, they should be accepted. Let us always follow Church guidelines and authority on this matter (ref 6).
Conclusion
The "Century of the Devil" has tested humanity severely, yet Mary's messages—echoing Fatima's promise—offer unshakeable hope. They reveal a divine plan to limit the damages inflicted by the devil upon humanity and the Church, guiding us toward her Immaculate Heart's final triumph over Satan and all his minions, both angelic and human.
This article seeks to convince us, our families, and friends that everything in our lives has profound meaning in God's providential design—not only to accompany and help us at every moment and save us in these extremely complex times, but to allow us to enter a period close to paradise.
Our Heavenly Mother’s Triumph is very close: we face insurmountable problems—in local politics, global affairs, the Church, our families, and even within ourselves. Chaos reigns without clear human solutions, and a nuclear war looms as nations prepare amid escalating tensions. We need God's direct intervention as never before, for a deluge of fire (not water, as God promised after Noah) approaches.
The Ark to carry us through is none other than the Immaculate Heart of Mary, full of love and motherly care at every instant. She will act not through human strength, but through divine, all-powerful mercy and tenderness—beginning right now, as we accept Her calls, most frequently through the recitation of the Rosary. Now, on the global level, She stands ready to act: beginning with the Warning as a universal call to conversion and the subsequent Amnesty; unfolding in the Tribulation's purification; and culminating in the Era of Peace, where the Heart of Christ reigns through our Holy Mother (perhaps manifest in real presence at apparition sites, in my humble opinion) and Satan is bound for a thousand years in hell.
This is no distant fantasy; signs abound in geopolitics, Church struggles, and converging prophecies. Yet God respects our freedom—our prayers, penance, and fidelity can hasten or mitigate chastisements, as He spared Nineveh through repentance.
Let us respond urgently: consecrate ourselves daily to her Immaculate, Loving Heart, praying the Rosary fervently and quite frequently throughout the day, to feel her company and help at each moment when we ask for it. Let us frequent the sacraments—especially Confession (at least monthly) and the Eucharist (daily if possible)—and share these merciful warnings with sinners both outside and within the Church. In doing so, we join Mary's army, hastening the day when "the dragon is cast out" and peace—the full Triumph—dawns.
The better prepared we are spiritually, the more useful we become as instruments in defeating the devil and his forces during these decisive times. May we be found faithful and vigilant when the Warning illuminates every conscience.
Come, Holy Spirit; come, Immaculate Heart of Mary—Maranatha! Thy kingdom come, dear Lord, for we truly need it to resolve the insurmountable problems the devil has sown and which humanity, in many cases, has failed—or refused—to stop!
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Candelaria, Reconciler of Peoples and Nations, pray for us.
In Christ and Mary, Felipe
