Defending Fr. Michel Rodrigue from Countdown to the Kingdom’s Disqualifications

Felipe Pérez Martí

March 25, 2026

Dear everyone,

After trying for three years to convince Countdown to the Kingdom (CDTK) in private to revise their negative assessment of Fr. Michel Rodrigue’s famous “prophecy of the two Popes,” I have reached the conclusion that they are not willing to correct what I consider a “prophetic analysis miss.”

They describe Fr. Michel’s prophecy as a “clear prophetic miss.” However, no such failure occurred, because God the Father Himself changed the prophecy. CDTK does not accept this change, and I demonstrate —using statistical inference applied to the natural and social sciences, as well as official Catholic doctrine— that their position is incorrect. I provide a coherent counterexample to their claims, which are ultimately an opinion rather than a statement supported by convincing evidence.

Both Mark Mallett and Daniel O’Connor, who are currently the sole editors of the website, have refused to acknowledge my arguments. Therefore, after following the steps outlined by Jesus in Matthew 18:15-17, I have decided to make this discussion public.

As Our Lord teaches: first speak privately with the person concerned. If there is no resolution, bring witnesses. If there is still no change, bring the matter to the broader Catholic community. That is exactly what I am doing today, after three years of private and fraternal attempts to reach an understanding.

The witnesses I brought to the discussion are Brother Philippe McAnany (in charge of Fr. Michel’s internet communications), Xavier Reyes-Ayral (who interviewed the witnesses of the change in the original prophecy), Christine Watkins (who is no longer part of CDTK), and Marti McCullough, a common friend of all the witnesses. They did not participate in the discussion and are not responsible for my opinions, but I am greatly thankful for their presence.

Now the matter is open to public discussion —and ultimately to God’s judgment— especially since the Warning appears to be very close.

The full email exchanges (primarily from me) are available upon request for anyone interested in reviewing the dialogue. The title of the email thread was: “The need to unite all Marian prophets and their teams,” since, as you will see in the documents, I intended to do something urgent and necessary in the midst of great division and confusion. Unfortunately, this first attempt regarding CDTK and the public image they transmit concerning Fr. Michel has not succeeded.

The main documents I have published are the following:

1. My final statement:

A Defense of Fr. Michel Rodrigue: Calling for Truth and Unity in Discernment

2. First Addendum (response to Mark Mallett’s initial reply):

A Defense of Fr. Michel Rodrigue – Addendum

3. Second Addendum (my response to Mark Mallett’s comments):

Addendum 2: My Response to Mark Mallett

4. Third Addendum (my response to Daniel O’Connor’s comments):

Addendum 3: My Response to Daniel O’Connor

Since I did not receive a substantive reply within a reasonable timeframe, and given the urgency of the times (World War III has already started and the Warning is very close) together with our own personal responsibilities, I have decided not to wait any longer and am going public now.

I welcome any comments or corrections. I am willing to recognize and publicly correct any mistakes I may have made, whether in private or in public.

Best regards and blessings,

In Christ, God the Father and the Holy Spirit, through Mary,

Felipe Pérez Martí
